HORIBA EMGA-600W is an analytical instrument that combines an oxygen/nitrogen analyzer and a hydrogen analyzer. It uses the inert gas melting method to determine the content of oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen elements in materials such as steel, non-ferrous metals, semiconductors, and electronics.
Oxygen element is measured in the form of carbon monoxide using a non dispersive infrared detector. Nitrogen and hydrogen elements are measured using a thermal conductivity detector. These detectors are connected to the same furnace unit through an air path selection device.
